The Silicon Touch case works in tandem with an app to enable visually challenged users to use the iPhone via special functions such as text to speech and moon type tactile feedback. It is engraved with bas-relief buttons each corresponding to a modified home screen on the phone. Other functions are not compromised with both multi-touch and finger flick scrolling still usable.
